T-Head Bolt

This photovoltaic T-Head Bolt, specially manufactured by YS STEEL Factory, is a dedicated fastener specifically designed for photovoltaic aluminum profiles' T-slots. It is made of high-quality carbon steel through forging and is available in two strength levels: 4.8 and 8.8. It undergoes overall hot-dip galvanizing treatment. The unique T-shaped end can be directly slid into the aluminum profile slot without needing to be inserted from the end of the profile, allowing for free adjustment of the installation position.

The T-Head Bolt manufactured by YS STEEL supplier has stable tensile and shear performance. The zinc layer completely covers the T-head edge and the threads, protecting it against outdoor dampness, saltiness, and coastal salt fog corrosion.

Challenges Solved

1. Traditional bolts require insertion from the end of the profile, making it troublesome to adjust the position. Re-drilling and repositioning on-site are time-consuming and labor-intensive.

The T-bolt can be directly slid into the T-slot sideways, allowing for free positioning at any location, significantly reducing on-site rework.

2. Outdoor photovoltaic projects are subject to alternating loads of wind, rain, and snow all year round. Ordinary fasteners are prone to loosening and rusting, resulting in high maintenance costs during later inspections and maintenance.

The full-piece hot-dip galvanizing process provides long-term corrosion resistance, suitable for a 25-year design lifespan of the photovoltaic system.

3. When tightening ordinary fasteners in the aluminum slot, they tend to rotate along with it, causing the bolts to not be securely locked and to slip.

The T-head is precisely forged, preventing rotation after being inserted into the slot, ensuring stable locking.

4. Overseas photovoltaic projects have numerous complex component purchases, and separately purchasing bolts and washers is prone to specification mismatches.

We support customized packaging based on project requirements, with unified packaging for export, reducing the cost of multi-category procurement for customers.

Product Advantages

- Integrated forging process results in a dense metal structure without internal cracks, and the 8.8 strength level model can withstand heavy snow and wind loads, with excellent shear performance.

- Overall hot-dip galvanizing protection forms a continuous zinc layer on the T-head and the thread gaps, providing resistance to salt fog and dampness, suitable for various harsh outdoor conditions.

- The T-head size is precisely matched to the tolerance of the photovoltaic aluminum profile slot, ensuring smooth sliding without sticking, and preventing rotation during locking to ensure a secure connection.

- Side sliding design eliminates the need to disassemble the profile, allowing for quick adjustment of the clamping block and guide rail positions on-site, significantly reducing the construction time for the photovoltaic support.

- Factory-level quality inspection covers multiple stages from raw materials, forging, thread processing, galvanizing, and finished products, ensuring traceability of quality.

- Flexible supply options, with sufficient standard specifications in stock, and customizable non-standard sizes based on drawings. We support separate individual parts or complete sets of fasteners for export.

FAQ

Q1: Can T-Head Bolts be shipped together with nuts and washers?

A1: By default, they are supplied separately. Customized packaging can be provided in sets with hot-dip galvanized nuts, flat washers, and spring washers as per your requirements.

Q2: Can T-type bolts be used for all brands of photovoltaic aluminum profiles?

A2: The type of profile's T-slot width and slot size must match for it to be usable. Customized slots can be produced upon request.

Q3: Should roof photovoltaic projects choose 4.8 grade or 8.8 grade T-type bolts?

A3: For ordinary rooftop distributed projects, 4.8 grade can be selected; for ground power stations with critical nodes exposed to heavy snow, 8.8 grade should be preferred, subject to the project drawings.

Q4: How long is the delivery cycle for standard products and non-standard customized products?

A4: Standard products are shipped within 3-6 working days, and non-standard customized products have a production cycle of 7-14 working days.

Q5: Why do T-Head Bolts tend to slip and rotate during installation?

A5: There are foreign objects in the slot, the T-head specifications do not match, or it has not fully inserted into the slot. Cleaning the slot and using the appropriate specification can improve the situation.

Q6: Can quality inspection reports be provided for overseas photovoltaic projects for approval?

A6: Quality inspection materials can be provided for each batch, meeting the requirements for overseas project acceptance.

Q7: Can the packaging for export be printed with the customer's brand logo? Can OEM be supported?

A7: OEM is supported. The packaging logo and labels can be customized according to customer requirements.
