The 304 Stainless Steel Wire Rope is stranded from 304 austenitic stainless steel wire, so corrosion resistance comes from the material itself, not a surface coating. There is no zinc layer to peel, flake or wear through. It resists coastal salt spray, outdoor rain exposure and mild acid-base media. Service life in these conditions is 3–5 times that of ordinary galvanized wire rope.
Because there is no coating, the rope produces no zinc particles, scale or rust debris during operation. The surface is burr-free and easy to clean. This meets cleanliness requirements for food processing equipment, medical device suspension and precision instrument rigging, where coating debris would contaminate the process.
304 austenitic stainless steel is naturally non-magnetic. Stranding introduces a slight residual magnetism, which is normal and does not affect conventional use. For medical nuclear magnetic equipment, precision electronic instruments and security sensors that require stricter limits, custom demagnetization is available.
Multi-strand precision stranding distributes stress evenly across the wires. The rope withstands frequent bending, pulley reciprocating motion and micro tension deformation without fatigue failure, wire breakage or strand loosening. This suits precision automation equipment, intelligent lifting systems and suspension applications with continuous movement.
