The Flat washer manufactured by YS STEEL's supplier is fully coated on both the front and back surfaces and the inner edge, suitable for long-term outdoor exposure conditions. It can be used in combination with 4.8, 8.8, and 10.9 grade bolts and nuts.

Product Testing

Before each batch of Flat washers leaves the factory, multiple-dimensional tests are conducted to ensure the stability of engineering use:

1. Dimensional tolerance testing is verified using micrometers and calipers for the inner and outer diameters, thickness, and flatness, controlling the stamping deformation.

2. Full appearance inspection to check for burrs, missing materials, and peeling surface defects.

3. Zinc layer testing includes thickness and adhesion tests to verify the bonding strength of the protective coating.

4. Hardness testing to confirm the pressure-bearing performance of the substrate and avoid deformation due to pressure.

5. Salt spray testing simulates the humid and salty coastal environment to evaluate the long-term outdoor corrosion resistance.

6. All test records are archived, and test reports can be provided along with the products to meet the requirements for overseas project entry and acceptance.

Notes for Attention

1. The flat washer only serves to distribute pressure and protect the workpiece. It does not have the elasticity for anti-loosening function by itself. For vibration conditions, it is recommended to use it together with a spring washer.

2. During construction, strictly follow the designed torque to lock the bolts. Excessive torque may cause the washer to deform under pressure, reducing the pressure protection effect.

3. During transportation and installation, avoid hitting and scratching the zinc layer with hard objects. The damaged areas of the coating will be prone to rusting first, shortening the outdoor service life.

4. When selecting the model, choose the appropriate thickness based on the actual load. Thin washers are not suitable for heavy-load pressure-bearing nodes.

5. Store in a dry and ventilated environment. Take protective measures when stacking to prevent early rusting due to long-term dampness.
