Our Hot-Dipped Galvanized Steel Wire Rope offers two types: fiber core (FC) and independent steel wire rope core (IWRC), covering common specifications such as 6×7, 6×19, 6×37, 7×7, 7×19 and 18×7. Production strictly follows the standards of GB/T 20118, ISO 2408, EN 12385 and ASTM A1007.
This wire rope has high strength, excellent impact resistance, wear resistance and good toughness, and is widely used in lifting and transporting, mining operations, cable car traction, tower cranes, bridge reinforcement, port handling, agricultural binding and outdoor engineering, etc.

Hot-dip galvanizing forms a metallurgical bond between the zinc layer and the steel substrate, so the coating resists impact peeling rather than sitting on the surface. The zinc layer is thicker than electro-galvanized rope, which slows rusting under outdoor moisture and rain in general open-air engineering.
We strand high-carbon steel wire to a tight, uniform arrangement, which holds certified breaking load. The rope resists impact and crushing under frequent heavy-duty and shock-loading conditions, covering lifting, mining and tower crane applications.
Our stranding process distributes stress evenly across the wires. Wear resistance and bending fatigue performance reduce wire-break risk under repeated sheave and drum movement, which extends service life on continuous construction and hoisting equipment.
FC fibre core gives flexibility and cushioning for sheave-frequent bending. IWRC steel core gives higher strength, crush resistance and temperature tolerance. Multiple constructions, diameters and strength grades are available for hoisting, cableway, binding and fixing applications.
Compared with stainless steel wire rope, hot-dip galvanized rope costs less. It performs well in environments without heavy salt spray or strong acid-base exposure, which suits bulk purchasing in mining, infrastructure, port and logistics projects where material cost is controlled.
Each batch is inspected for breaking load, zinc coating thickness and dimensional accuracy. Material certificates and factory test reports ship with every order. SGS and BV third-party inspections are supported. English export documents meet overseas project acceptance and customs clearance requirements.

Central Asia Mining Infrastructure Project (2025): 420 tons of 6×37-IWRC hot-dip galvanized wire rope were supplied for a large open-pit mine in Central Asia, applied for mine hoisting and traction systems. Grade-C heavy zinc coating was adopted for open-air humid mining conditions. All-batch breaking-load indexes passed on-site third-party testing, and an annual framework supply agreement was signed.
• Southeast Asia Construction Tower-Crane Supporting Project (2025): 330 tons of 6×19 & 7×19 hot-dip galvanized wire rope were delivered in bulk to Southeast-Asian construction-equipment manufacturers as rigging for tower cranes and construction elevators. Stable dimensional tolerance and good fatigue-resistance adapt to high-frequency cyclic equipment operation. Business developed from trial orders to long-term stable supply.
• Middle-East Port & Logistics Project (2024): 290 tons of multi-size hot-dip galvanized wire rope were provided for Middle-East port-logistics enterprises for terminal handling, cargo binding and trailer towing. Export-oriented packing fits ocean-transport conditions with full-set export documents. Full-container delivery was completed, followed by repeated bulk re-orders after customs clearance.
A: Hot-dip galvanizing forms metallurgical bonding with thick, well-adhered zinc layer for superior anti-corrosion performance. Electro-galvanizing delivers thin coating and is mainly for indoor dry conditions. Hot-dip galvanized rope is preferred for outdoor open-air projects.
A: FC fibre core provides good flexibility and oil-storage space for sheave-frequent bending. IWRC steel core achieves higher breaking load, crush resistance and temperature tolerance for heavy-load, squeezing and high-temperature scenarios with relatively lower flexibility.
A: Standard hot-dip galvanized rope suits mild-corrosion environments only. Zinc layer will degrade rapidly under heavy coastal salt spray; 304 / 316 stainless-steel wire rope is recommended. If hot-dip galvanized must be used, select Grade-C heavy coating and perform regular maintenance.
A: Yes. Ropes can be cut to any required length. End-swaging and anti-rust oil-dipping services are available. Certain non-standard diameters can be produced; special sizes beyond equipment capacity require technical evaluation.
A: Material certificates and factory test reports are provided per batch; SGS / BV third-party inspection is supported. Standard sizes are in-stock with small-order lead-time of 3-7 working days; bulk orders follow production schedule. Warranty covers raw-material and manufacturing defects; artificial wear and overload damage are excluded.
