We electroplate at room temperature, with no high-temperature heating step. This avoids tempering embrittlement and strength attenuation, so the original tensile and toughness performance of the base wire is retained. Strength stability is higher than hot-dip galvanized rope, which suits precision traction and light-load applications with strict mechanical accuracy requirements.
The electro-galvanized layer has a dense and uniform crystal structure. The surface is smooth, burr-free and consistent in color, with no secondary polishing needed. This suits indoor decorative suspension cables, lamp hanging and display tensioning, where appearance and function are both required.
The flat, smooth surface and uniform inter-wire gap reduce friction loss during pulley reciprocating movement, with quiet operation and no jitter. Precise stranding distributes stress evenly, so the rope withstands long-term high-frequency small-amplitude bending without wire breakage or strand loosening. This extends service life on precision equipment and automatic traction assemblies.
The passivated pure zinc layer isolates air oxidation for long-term rust prevention in dry indoor environments. The coating does not peel or shed debris, which keeps the rope clean. In dry and mild-protection conditions, cost performance is better than stainless steel and hot-dip galvanized rope.
The size range covers micro-diameter decorative rope to large-diameter light-load rope. FC fibre core suits flexible bending; IWRC steel core suits medium-load bearing. A: Electro-galvanized rope adopts room-temperature thin coating with bright surface, zero strength loss and high cost performance, only suitable for dry, well-ventilated indoor mild-corrosion scenarios for decoration, precision parts and light tensioning. Hot-dip galvanized rope with thick high-temperature coating delivers stronger anti-corrosion performance for outdoor rain, humidity and general open-air conditions, suitable for engineering lifting and outdoor equipment. Electro-galvanized rope is not allowed for coastal salt-spray and long-term open-air exposure scenarios.
A: FC fibre core features excellent flexibility, light weight and good bending cushioning, ideal for high-frequency small-amplitude bending, decorative suspension and precision traction. IWRC steel core has tighter structure, better crush resistance and higher breaking load, suitable for indoor medium-load light lifting and fixed load-bearing scenarios with relatively lower flexibility.
A: Outdoor rain exposure, sunlight exposure and coastal salt-spray environments are not recommended. Electro-galvanized rope has thin zinc coating and limited waterproof anti-corrosion ability, which will cause rapid oxidation, rusting and peeling in long-term humid outdoor conditions. Hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel wire rope is recommended for outdoor applications.
