It is mainly used for lateral support, structural reinforcement and frame load-bearing and is a core auxiliary profile in steel structure engineering.
The U-shaped section is designed to carry lateral bending and shear. It distributes vertical and lateral loads across the web and flanges and resists wind, snow and vibration loads. In lateral reinforcement, roof load-bearing and bracket support, this improves structural rigidity and reduces the risk of loosening or bending deformation.
Under the same load, channel steel weighs less and uses material more efficiently than solid or heavier profiles. This lowers the overall structural load and procurement cost. The open-section design also takes up less installation space, which suits curtain wall installation and equipment matching where space is limited.
We finish on fully automatic hot-rolled lines. Product is free of cracks, folds, inclusions and burrs. Flange verticality, web flatness and dimensional tolerance meet international standard limits. Uniform texture and good toughness support welding, cutting, punching, bending, tapping and groove processing without cracking or deformation. Non-standard sizes are produced to drawings.
High-purity steel billet with low impurity content gives the channel basic resistance to rust and oxidation in conventional indoor and outdoor use. Surface treatment is selected by environment: hot-dip galvanizing, cold galvanizing or epoxy anti-corrosion spraying. These suit coastal salt spray, high-temperature drought, humidity and chemical corrosion, extending service life and reducing maintenance frequency.
Each batch is inspected for dimensional accuracy, appearance and mechanical properties. Material certificates, test reports and factory qualifications ship with every order.
