Square Steel Bar for Structural is integrally formed with a dense internal structure, free of pores, inclusions and cracks. Stress distributes evenly across the solid square section without stress concentration. Compared with hollow sections of the same outer dimension, it delivers higher compression, torsion and bending resistance and holds its shape under long-term static and dynamic loads.
Hot-rolled square bar is finished on automatic lines within GB/T 702, EN 10058, ASTM A36 and JIS G3101 tolerances. Cold-drawn square bar goes through multi-pass drawing and polishing, giving vertical edges, burr-free surfaces and tighter straightness. Both grades fit direct bolt fixing, welding and clamping without extensive on-site correction.
Uniform structure with moderate hardness and stable toughness supports cutting, bending, punching, chamfering, turning and stamping without cracking, deformation or springback. The same material is used for heavy-load structural main members and for precision machined parts, connectors and mold blanks.
Hot-dip galvanized square bar uses high-temperature zinc dipping and passivation, with uniform zinc layer and strong adhesion. It resists coastal salt spray, high-temperature exposure, humidity and mild chemical corrosion. Standard outdoor rust resistance is 8–10 years; thickened zinc layers are available for coastal and high-corrosion environments.
