They are produced by heating the steel billets to high temperatures, continuous rolling, and cooling for coiling. We roll at high temperature with controlled homogeneity, which gives a dense and uniform internal structure. Tensile strength, yield strength and elongation are held within a stable range, without residual stress concentration. The coil holds its shape under long-term load, vibration and pressure, which suits steel structure bearing members, pressure vessels and heavy machinery parts.
Hot rolled coil has good plasticity and weldability. It supports cutting, bending, punching, welding, pipe rolling and forging, and resists cracking, warping and springback during processing. It is used directly for civil steel structures, support bases and equipment racks, and also serves as the substrate for cold rolled, pickled, galvanized and color coated products.
