Utilizing a pure zinc hot-dip process, the steel substrate receives comprehensive protection through a combination of physical barrier isolation and sacrificial anodic electrochemical protection.
Even if minor scratches or abrasions occur on the surface, the zinc layer continues to inhibit oxidation and rust, effectively resisting corrosion from rain, humidity, dust, acids/alkalis, and coastal salt spray.
With a service life exceeding 15 years under standard outdoor conditions, these sheets significantly reduce long-term building maintenance and renovation costs.
An automated, constant-temperature galvanizing control system ensures precise control over zinc layer thickness and uniformity. The zinc layer bonds tightly to the steel substrate, free from defects such as uncoated spots, peeling, blistering, or flaking.
Customizable zinc coating weights (ranging from 30g/m² to 275g/m²) are available. The material offers excellent ductility; the coating remains intact—without cracking or flaking—after bending, stamping, welding, or cutting, thereby preserving its corrosion-resistant properties and suiting various precision construction and forming processes.
The finished sheets feature a flat, smooth surface with uniform color and fine texture, free from defects such as zinc nodules, scratches, or oxidation spots. Available in three surface finishes—regular spangle, minimized spangle, and zero spangle—and compatible with passivation, oiling, and chromium-free passivation treatments to effectively prevent white rust during storage and transportation.
Suitable for both exposed architectural decorative structures and functional anti-corrosion/aesthetic needs in industrial and civil buildings; simplifies construction processes and reduces costs associated with secondary painting.
Mainstream construction-grade materials—such as DX51D+Z, DX52D+Z, DX53D+Z, DX54D+Z, SGCC, and Q235B—are kept in stock. These offer a clear gradient of mechanical properties to suit various architectural fabrication methods.
Thickness ranges from 0.15mm to 12.0mm, with standard widths including 1000mm, 1219mm, 1250mm, and 1500mm. Cut-to-length services are available, accommodating construction needs ranging from simple bending and shallow stamping to complex deep drawing.

Surface finishes—regular spangle, minimized spangle, or zero spangle—can be selected as needed, combined with protective treatments such as passivation, oiling, or chromium-free passivation. Strict control over thickness and width tolerances ensures high flatness without warping or wavy edges, guaranteeing stability during cutting and bending operations on-site.
For deep-processed or specially shaped architectural components, priority is given to verifying sheet elongation and yield strength to prevent issues like springback or cracking during stamping. Materials requiring welding or coating can be matched with compatible plating processes to ensure optimal downstream processing results.

YS STEEL undertakes long-term industrial steel supporting orders for West African regions. In 2026, we supplied 1,200 tons of DX51D hot-dip galvanized steel plates for a large industrial park construction project in Ghana, used for factory steel structure anti-corrosion cladding, equipment protective shells and workshop ceiling systems. The coastal area of Ghana features high humidity and obvious salt spray, leading to easy rust failure of ordinary steel materials. Adopting high-quality low-carbon substrate and standard hot-dip galvanizing technology, our products deliver excellent bending, stamping and salt spray resistance, fully meeting customers' on-site mass forming processing demands. The full batch achieved a 100% qualification rate with stable coating performance during processing, perfectly adapting to local hot and humid harsh conditions. With reliable quality and efficient delivery, we have become the designated galvanized steel supplier for the second and third phases of the industrial park.
In the first half of 2026, we customized and supplied 675 tons of multi-specification galvanized steel plates and strips for a large light industry manufacturer in Romania, applied to civil hardware products, light equipment brackets and storage shelf production. The client raised extremely strict requirements on surface smoothness, zinc layer uniformity and dimensional tolerance to avoid surface defects affecting end-product quality. Through refined rolling and intelligent coating control, we achieved zero scratches and zero zinc nodules on the surface with thickness tolerance strictly controlled within ±0.05mm, ensuring crack-free bending and stable coating adhesion during forming. All samples passed inspection at one time, and the mass delivery greatly improved the client's processing yield. Stable monthly repeat purchase cooperation has been established since then.
For dry indoor architectural applications, standard Z80 or Z100 zinc coatings are sufficient to meet corrosion resistance needs;
For outdoor settings or humid industrial facilities, Z120 or Z140 (medium-to-high) zinc coatings are recommended;
For coastal environments with severe corrosion risks due to salt spray and high humidity, Z270 (high) zinc coating is the preferred choice; it ensures a stable anti-corrosion lifespan of over 15 years, effectively preventing rust and degradation in steel structures and cladding panels.
White rust is typically caused by oxidation in humid environments during storage or maritime transport, while peeling or coating detachment usually results from substandard coating adhesion or improper base metal treatment.
Our galvanized steel sheets for construction feature optional surface treatments—including passivation, oiling, and chromium-free passivation. They are manufactured with a strong metallurgical bond between the coating and the base metal, ensuring excellent adhesion. Under normal storage, transport, and outdoor construction conditions, issues such as white rust, peeling, or detachment do not occur, making them fully suitable for long-term outdoor architectural applications.
Our products feature a base metal with excellent ductility and a uniform, secure coating. The coating does not crack or peel during standard construction processes—such as bending, cutting, stamping, or welding—and the overall corrosion resistance remains intact. For welded areas, we offer supplementary localized anti-corrosion treatments to repair minor damage from welding, ensuring consistent corrosion protection and longevity for the entire structural component.
Regular-spangle sheets offer high cost-performance and are suitable for functional construction materials such as factory steel structures, site hoarding, and ventilation ducts;
Minimized-spangle sheets feature a fine surface texture, making them ideal for general building facades and decorative cladding panels;
Zero-spangle sheets offer a smooth, uniform surface free from spangle patterns or color variations; they are primarily used for high-end architectural decoration, precision equipment casings, and exposed landscape structural elements, allowing for direct outdoor use without the need for secondary painting.
