Cold Rolled Steel Coil for General Industrial Manufacturing is a high-end precision steel product. It is produced through multiple passes of room-temperature precision rolling and heat treatment processes, starting from acid-washed hot-rolled coils.
Compared with hot-rolled products, cold-rolled steel coils have higher dimensional accuracy, more flat plate shape, stricter thickness tolerances, smoother and more uniform surfaces, and no need for secondary polishing and rust removal.
The products are manufactured strictly in accordance with international standards such as GB, ASTM, JIS, and EN. We roll on a fully automatic closed-loop precision line. Thickness, width and flatness are held within controlled tolerances, with thickness accuracy down to ±0.02mm. Coils are uniform in thickness and flat without waves or warping. In batch processing this removes dimensional deviation between coils, cuts adaptation errors on cutting and assembly lines, and raises assembly qualification rate.
After cold rolling, the coil is precision leveled and cleaned. The surface has no oxide scale, spots, scratches or peeling, with uniform luster. It goes directly into spraying, baking varnish, electroplating, film coating or color coating without polishing or derusting. This removes the coating adhesion and surface texture problems caused by rough substrate.
We apply graded annealing by grade, which refines the metallographic structure and balances hardness and toughness. Internal processing stress is reduced. The coil resists cracking, wrinkling and springback in complex forming, and holds consistent forming performance from batch to batch on high-speed continuous stamping lines. Scrap rate is lower, and the material suits precise and complex structural parts.
We supply commercial, stamping, deep drawing and ultra-deep drawing grades. Thickness tolerance, hardness range, elongation and surface roughness can be set to match the customer's processing method and end product. Ultra-thin precision specifications are available. Cold rolled coil is the substrate for galvanizing, galvalume, color coating, electroplating and baking varnish. The stable, clean surface improves coating adhesion and finished surface texture, and reduces rework loss. Finished dimensions are accurate enough to eliminate post-shaping repair steps, which simplifies the production flow.
